Beef up the drivetrain in your 1979-2004 Ford Mustang with Tremec T56 6-speed transmission! This T56 Mustang transmission will handle up to 700lb-ft of torque and will provide crisp, clean shifts throughout the entire RPM band. With the appropriate QuickTime Bellhousing, this transmission will bolt in behind your 302 or 351 small block as well as the 4.6L, 5.0L, or 5.4L modular motors, making this a great swap for any 1979-2004 Mustang! This transmission should be your only consideration if doing a 5.0L Coyote swap in your 1979-2004 Mustang! The input shaft is a 26 spline and the output shaft is 31 spline. This transmission also features provisions for mechanical and electronic speedometers with an included Tremec billet shifter base. No matter what you do with your Mustang, this Tremec T56 transmission will likely handle it! All you need to do is choose the right shift handle, knob, and clutch to handle your horsepower output!

T56 requires a 12v power source for the reverse lockout.

Gear ratios as follows:

• 1st - 2.97
• 2nd - 1.78
• 3rd - 1.30
• 4th - 1.00
• 5th - 0.80
• 6th - 0.63
