4.6 Best performance up to 7200 rpm shift point. Very lumpy idle, good driveability down to 2500, performance range 3500-7200 rpm. Must have AFM performance valve spring kit. Must have 80mm mass air, Power Pipe®, 70mm or 75mm throttle body and TFS or Dragon Plenum with aftermarket intake manifold. Long tube headers and ported P.I. heads highly recommended. Gears 4.30 to 4.88. With automatic transmission needs 3500-3800 converter.
