Description

From Blue Print Engines comes the 408W Longblock Crate Engine for your swapped project or replacement for front sumped late model Ford. Setup with a new 4 bolt main engine block that is stronger than the factory 2 bolt main block. Forged rods and pistons, 10:1 compression and a mild street friendly camshaft complete this package. This engine is an ideal candidate for some performance upgrades or can be left alone for a street cruiser. This engine is setup for a front sump oiling system which came in some early model Ford vehicles, however for Fox Body swaps or other late model Fords you can easily swap to a rear sump oiling system, see kit part number below.
