Anderson 6500 RPM "R" Series Natural Aspirated Top End Kit for 1987 - 1995 5.0 Mustang

This kit is designed for race style setups in a 1987 - 1995 5.0 Mustang using a stock short block and 6500 rpm rev limiter. 1994 - 1995 models will require an intake manifold adapter. This top end kit utilizes our HR series cam paired with R series cylinder heads and intake manifold.

Recommend rear gear ratio is 4.10, but, will work with 3.73 as well.  Automatic transmission equipped cars will need 3400 converter. Requires the use of aftermarket valve covers or modified original covers to clear roller rockers. Cam should clear stock pistons but may need to retard the cam 2 degrees to get piston to valve clearance.
