19140 Aeromotive 525 Pump and Hanger for 1983 - 1997 Mustangs

Billet Fuel Pump Hanger and High Flow 525 "Hellcat" Pump assembly provides a high-flow, high horsepower fuel pump installation for stock 86-98 1/2 Mustang fuel tanks, eliminating both fuel starvation and return aeration common to the factory Mustang hanger. Anderson Ford Motorsport assisted with testing to bring this new pump assembly to market since we wanted to get the most fuel flow out of a pump assembly on a completely stock fuel tank. The "Hellcat" 525 or 470lph fuel pump with Aeromotives high flow fuel hat and bracket assembly did the best upon testing.

Rated for 900 FWHP Forced Induction EFI, 1100 FWHP Naturally aspirated EFI engines on gasoline.  Reduce HP ratings by 30% for E85 applications.

The new P/N 19140 Billet Mustang 525 Fuel Pump Hanger Features a CNC machined billet aluminum hat with ORB-06 outlet and return ports, allowing the use of AN-06 or AN-08 supply and return lines, making it suitable for high horsepower EFI engines. The new Mustang 525 Fuel Pump Hanger is constructed with a stainless steel mounting bracket and features a CNC machined 6065 aluminum hat that fits the stock tank and is bright dip anodized black and laser engraved.

The Billet Mustang 525 Fuel Pump Hanger ships completely assembled and is designed as a direct fit for the OEM fuel pump opening, providing easy installation and a leak proof seal. The internal, stainless steel mounting bracket supports a preinstalled 525 Stealth Pump preset for the correct depth and connected to the hat by OEM style convoluted, submersible fuel hose for high flow and long life. The pump sets in the stock internal baffle and the return is engineered to eliminate cavitation.

AFM has tested the Aeromotive fuel hat with both the 340 and 525 pumps and have concluded that the Aeromotive hat is the best flowing single pump hat on the market. The new 525 hanger assembly with 8an feed and 6an return and a constant 12v supply to a car battery and utilizing the heavy duty fuel pump wiring kit pn# 16307 we got an impressive 102 gallons per hour fuel flow.

No cutting of the factory tank is required!

Comes with fuel filter sock, ring terminals, terminal covers, lock ring and gasket

- Do not run the tank lower than 1/4 tank under WOT conditions

- For maximum flow use 8an feed line

- For maximum flow use heavy duty wiring kit pn# 16307

- Verify the factory tank vent is free and clear to avoid excess pressure in the fuel tank

- We suggest not using factory power wiring for run this pump system
