0136C Anderson Power Pipe® for 2015 - 2017 Mustang GT 5.0, Naturally Aspirated

We decided to call in Ron Anderson, NHRA Div. Champion, NHRA US Nationals Winner and NMRA World Champion to be part of the team to work on this project. Our #1 goal was to make the most horsepower on a stock 5.0L Mustang with a "canned" tune and we wanted to do it under “real world” testing, With The Hood Closed!  Again, we have to stress that all testing was done with "canned" tunes, nothing custom!  However, tune is required.  We didn't even write a custom program for our own Power Pipe®!

With our DynoJet Dyno it was easy to go out and test all the competition first to see where we needed to set the bar. After that was done we went to work on creating a ceramic coated PowerPipe®.

Why ceramic coated? Because in the real world ceramic is cooler and cold air makes more power. Throughout our testing, we continuously saw the ceramic running 5 degrees cooler than the plastic offerings, again, with the hood closed!  After many hours of testing we came up with the right combination of bends and angles to maximize the flow. Next we knew they didn’t want an "air box" because we wanted the maximum amount of flow to our air cleaner. We also knew we needed to keep the heat off of the air cleaner so we made a heat shield to get maximum flow to the engine.
